5 Email Marketing Tips for Getting Your Messages Opened and Read To Increase Your MLM Marketing Effectiveness!!…
Many people think that you have to be some sort of marketing or copywriting genius to be able to do well with your email marketing.
Of course the more you understand about the concepts of copywriting the better you’ll do, but right now you just want some response rate, so let’s prime that pump.

Email Marketing Tip #1 – Send More Often… It’s important that you realize that you need to have the numbers working on your side.
If you send your list 1 email a week, you only have one chance to have your list open your emails each week.
Very hard to get anything in life with just ONE chance!! That only gives you 52 times a year for the chance of having people open your emails, see your messages, and click over to your money pages.
Doesn’t seem like much when you put it that way now does it?
Increase your mailings to 3 times a week, and you’ve just given yourself 104 extra chances. Increase to 5 times a week…208 extra chances (P.S. I suck at math, so that might be wrong )…

Email Marketing Tip #2 – Think of Your Subscriber/Lead as a Friend!…
I see a ton of people make the mistake of talking to their list as a list. As an AUDIENCE!!…
Are they an audience? Yes! Are they your audience? Sure why not…
But… are you Bruce Springsteen or Madonna where they’re hanging on your every word and proud to be in your fan club? Nope!!
Email marketing and MLM marketing in general is all about building relationships. Therefore you want to write your emails as though you’re talking to a friend.
Now you’re probably saying “I thought this article was about getting my emails opened.” True dat!!…It absolutely is!! But again… you’re not just going to send one email to your list are you? You’re going to send multiple. Therefore you want to set that precedent right away that you’re talking to your prospect like they’re the only one in the room.
This is one reason why video marketing is so effective. It creates a bonding. And you CAN do it with your text emails as well.
Talk like you’re emailing your best friend. You don’t use all proper English and grammar when you’re shooting an email to your best friend do you? Talk to your prospects like they’re real people. One person.
As a quick side note, this is one reason I personally like to send emails that aren’t all fancy and jazzy looking with HTML. I try to make them look as much like a personal email as possible. Friends don’t send you HTML newsletters…they send you personal emails.
Email Marketing Tip #3 – Lead with the Benefit to Your Reader…
These days, when your subscribers log into their email box, they’re greeted with a TON of messages.

All of these messages are vying for their attention. Of course the message that gets opened is going to be the message that picks up on the conversation going on in your subscriber’s mind. Usually that’s the message that has a benefit that’s going to affect them positively. (Or sometimes it could be something that might affect them negatively)…
The point is that everyone is nearly constantly in the “what’s in it for me?” mindset. It’s not a selfish thing. It’s a natural filter. Your mind has to somehow distinguish from all of the crap out there. From all of the thousands of messages coming in everyday!!
So give them a good reason why they should open your email.
Email Marketing Tip #4 – Use Curiosity Wisely…
Curiosity is a very powerful way to get people to open your emails. Especially when coupled with using a benefit. For instance…if you’re in the MLM business, instead of leading with…
“My Biz Opportunity Can Make You Thousands Per Month!!”… or something to that nature that you constantly see…you could use curiosity and the benefit with something like… “How this 19 year old kid makes thousands per month”…
It’ makes the reader NEED to know how this young kid is doing it. This takes practice and there are a lot of elements to this that you can use, that I’ll talk about in later posts. But curiosity is an EXTREMELY strong tool!”…
Email Marketing Tip #5 – Know Your Stats!!…
One thing that people often fail to do is keep track of what’s working and what’s not working. When you operate this way, it leads to a perpetual guessing game that never ends.
When you keep track of open rates, and click thru rates, it lets you see what is working with your email marketing.
When something works, you can use it more often, as well as improve on it. When something doesn’t work, you can scrap it. This is vital if you want to actually improve you email marketing and therefore of course your MLM marketing over time… which of course you do.
So there you have it! Those are 5 ways you can increase your open rates with your email marketing.
